Under the leadership of Director SCERT, Punjab, the State Level Teacher’s Fest 2022 was organized at Shri Fatehgarh Sahib from November 16 to November 18, in which those teachers of the Education Department participated in this teacher’s festival, who won their respective awards in the teacher’s festival organized at the district level. Secured first position in subjects. Teacher’s festival was organized for 3 days. In which the one act play from Gurdaspur district which was taken for performance in Fatehgarh Sahib under the leadership of Jasbir Singh Samra and Vandana Gupta has brought laurels to its district by getting first place. For which specially arrived as chief guest education minister Harjot singh Bains honored the team of teachers Vandana Gupta and Jasbir Singh Samra with an amount of Rs.5100. District Education Officer Secondary Harpal Singh Sandhawalia and Deputy District Education Officer Lakhwinder Singh congratulated and said that students are being taught in a very good way with the help of auxiliary materials made by the teachers. Apart from this, onsite support is also provided by DM and BM from time to time, as a result of which teachers have performed well today. Jasbir Singh Samra was honored by the Principal Jasbir Lal and the entire staff on reaching the school after getting the first position in the state. Apart from this, the entire team was also honored by District Education Officer Harpal Singh Sandha Walia in Gurdaspur.
