Qadian 14 august (Munira Salam Tari)

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself taught that the “Love for one’s Nation is a part of faith.”
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of India extends its heartfelt wishes to all the people of the Nation on the occasion of 75 Independence Day.

Today, 75 years have been completed since the independence of our country India. All the citizens of India are celebrating this special day as the “Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” with great feelings of celebration and gratitude. On this special occasion, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at India wishes all the people of the country from the deepest depths of our hearts. We value those who sacrificed their lives to give our generations a chance to breathe in the atmosphere of freedom.
India is a democratic country. Every citizen of this country participates equally in the development of this country. On this occasion of Independence Day, we should pay attention towards our duties for the nation and for the people of this Nation.
Founder of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (peace be upon him) while advising his countrymen about mutual sympathy, states that:
“My countrymen, a religion which does not inculcate universal compassion is no religion at all. Similarly, a human being without the faculty of compassion is no human at all. Our God has never discriminated between one people and another. This is illustrated by the fact that all the potentials and capabilities which have been granted to the Aryans have also been granted to the races inhabiting Arabia, Persia, Syria, China, Japan, Europe and America.” Let us also treat our fellow human beings with dignity and respect and do not be narrow-minded and narrow-handed.
(Message of Peace)
Worldwide head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba says about love for the nation:
“The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself taught that the ‘Love for one’s nation is a part of faith.’ Thus, sincere patriotism is a requirement in Islam. To truly love God and Islam requires a person to love his nation. It is quite clear, therefore, that there can be no conflict of interest between a person’s love for God, and love for his country. As love for one’s country has been made a part of Islam, it is clear that a Muslim should strive to achieve high standards of loyalty towards his nation because it is a way to achieve nearness to God and getting closer to Him. Therefore, it is impossible that a true Muslim’s love for God, his true love and loyalty to his country, will ever be a hindrance to him.”
Islam enjoins the observance of the laws of the land and advises the inhabitants of any country to refrain from any act which is immoral, objectionable and has any aspect of rebellion in it.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community India gives this message to all citizens of the country on this occasion that every Indian should try to play his positive and significant role for the country’s peace, its development and its welfare. On this auspicious day, let’s create a beautiful society by adopting the religion of humanity and eliminate the differences based on caste, colour, creed and religion.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at India on this occasion prays that May Allah keep our beloved country India as the cradle of peace and bless it with great developments. Ameen
